This is a night shift position that is 100% no-touch. While some trips may require a layover, most shifts begin and end at the home terminal._Bobtail drivers with local delivery experience are welcome to apply._Job Responsibilities+ Transport freight in safe and prompt manner+ Interact with our clients and customers in a professional and courteous manner with limited supervision+ Comply with Department of Transportation regulations and laws+ Maintain responsibility for safety and security of company equipment and customer goods+ Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, either individually or with the assistance of a co-worker, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment, as required.+ Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets.+ Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.+ Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including cranking levers to raise and lower landing gear.+ Fuel trucks and tractors.+ Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.At DHE Transportation, we are committed to fostering growth and development for all our employees.
