Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Configuration Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a research or governmental organization. Strong knowledge of configuration management principles, practices, and tools. Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for configuration management, CI / CD pipelines, and reporting. Knowledge of Scrum Agile development methodology Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide training to staff. Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or similar). Experience with other configuration management tools and technologies.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive configuration management plan.
- Establish and maintain a centralized repository for storing configuration items.
- Utilize Azure DevOps to track, manage, and automate changes to hardware, software, and documentation.
- Implement a rigorous change control process to evaluate, approve, and implement modifications.
- Monitor and audit configurations continuously to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Generate detailed reports and analytics to provide insights into configuration trends and identify potential issues.
- Provide training and support to staff on configuration management best practices and effective use of Azure DevOps.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
