Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is a multi-disciplined engineering and surveying firm that provides services across the country for the development of land and energy projects. We are a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

Westwood's Dallas / Fort Worth operation is searching for a Construction Inspector in our Frisco, TX office with strong technical, communication and interpersonal skills that works well in a fast-paced construction environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Will conduct on-site observations of construction activities related to site infrastructure installation to serve residential and commercial developments.

• Evaluating erosion control.
• Observing site grading activities.
• Observing utility construction activities such as water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer installation.
• Observing paving construction.
• Reviewing testing reports.
• Ensuring the contractors are constructing improvements in accordance to the City standards and specifications and construction plans
• Preparing weekly construction summary reports.
• Reviewing monthly contractor pay applications.
