Job description7+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator, specializing in luxury single-family homes and commercial high-rise projects. In-depth knowledge of DFW’s construction market, local subcontractors, and material costs. Expertise in high-end materials, finishes, and construction techniques for luxury developments. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar). Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation and communication skills for vendor and client interactions. Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, and construction contracts. Experience working with high-net-worth clients, luxury developers, and premium real estate projects. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Certification in Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or equivalent credential is a plus.

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator with 7+ years of experience specializing in luxury single-family residences and commercial high-rises. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who excels in cost analysis, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and pre-construction planning. This role requires a strong understanding of the DFW real estate market, local construction costs, and high-end materials, ensuring our projects maintain the highest standards of quality and financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for high-end single-family homes and commercial high-rise projects in the DFW market.
- Analyze architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and project requirements to determine material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost accuracy and feasibility.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on DFW construction costs, vendor pricing, and material availability.
- Build and maintain relationships with local subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality materials.
- Develop budget forecasts, value engineering strategies, and cost-saving recommendations without compromising project quality.
- Assist in bid preparation, contract negotiations, and construction scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, permit requirements, and industry regulations.
- Present cost estimates and financial reports to executives, stakeholders, and clients.
- Maintain a database of historical cost data for reference in future projects.
