Job descriptionAbility to travel at least 75% of the time. Construction experience required, multi-family experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Experience with NAV, ProCore, or Sage preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving abilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of subcontractors. High level of integrity and resourcefulness in decision-making.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare cost estimates, construction budgets, and schedules for projects.
- Inspect worksites to assess conditions and ensure quality control.
- Determine material, subcontractor, and labor requirements for projects.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings to outline project goals.
- Oversee and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring that all employees, subcontractors, and vendors meet standards.
- Manage the buy-out process for projects within a $5,000 budget; assist with projects exceeding $5,000.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Review invoices and timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- Travel to remote locations to prepare cost estimates, establish operations, and adhere to local building codes and standards.
- Identify, evaluate, and select local subcontractors and vendors.
- Contribute creatively to building success by maintaining low costs and high-quality standards.
