We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Position Overview :
The Commercial Construction Estimator will be responsible for estimating the costs of construction projects, preparing detailed cost reports, and ensuring the timely submission of accurate bids. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale commercial construction projects, proficiency in estimating software, and a thorough understanding of building codes and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Develop and maintain accurate bid prices and cost proposals.
- Analyze project scope, materials, labor, and equipment requirements to produce comprehensive estimates.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and verify details.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and determine labor and material needs.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to provide updated cost projections and value engineering solutions.
- Monitor ongoing projects to track costs and adjust estimates as necessary.
- Prepare final bid packages and support the submission process.
