Job Description
National engineering firm with a focus on water related projects is looking for a Construction Engineer in the Tempe, Arizona office to lead the water / wastewater construction projects.
Must have experience and deep knowledge of the water wastewater industry, particularly the construction of those facilities.
Will work with senior PE's and PMs to manage the construction administration and execution, including the acquisition process of those projects. Must have water wastewater industry experience and be comfortable interfacing with external third parties (and owners) associated with the projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned construction engineer to gain independence on projects.
General responsibilities in the role :
- Lead construction projects from proposal through completion.
- Self manage in the development and execution of water-related construction projects.
- Lead the client interaction on construction projects and collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the design phase and develop future opportunities. Requirements :
- BS Degree
- PE in Arizona
- Construction Management experience for Water / Wastewater facilities
- Business development knowledge a huge plus
