Your Role

As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for two main areas : developing and maintaining our estimating capabilities within our project management software and writing detailed project specifications and pricing. You will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that every estimate is precise and every material is meticulously managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimating Tool Development and Maintenance : Regularly update our database with accurate pricing from vendors and subcontractors. Ensure our CoConstruct and Speed Estimator tools are utilized effectively for accurate estimates.
  • Subcontractor and Vendor Development : Build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of partners to secure the best pricing and ensure alignment with our commitment to excellence.
  • Project Estimation and Feasibility Studies : Produce detailed estimates for all aspects of construction projects, ensuring competitive pricing and clear, well-written specifications.
  • Materials Management : Oversee the ordering and delivery of building products, maintaining efficiency and addressing supply chain delays proactively.

Who You Are

  • A professional with a minimum of 5 years in the residential construction field, including at least 2 years of construction estimating experience.
  • Adept in producing highly specific, accurate job estimates and specifications.
  • Knowledgeable in building codes, materials, and remodeling estimating techniques.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting construction plans and job costs.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet software, and familiarity with CoConstruct Project Management software is a plus.
  • A strong communicator with effective problem-solving skills.

    • Qualifications

  • Education : Associate's degree in construction or related field required; Bachelor's degree in construction / engineering preferred.
  • Experience : A proven track record in construction estimating and project management.

    • On Target Earnings : $90,000 - $150,000

  • 70,000 - $90,000 base depending on experience.
  • Individual Profit Share bonus based on project profitability.
  • Team Profit Share based on quarterly revenue goals.
