  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex problems.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Engineer-in-Training certification or professional registration.
  • Certifications in AK-CESCL, WAQTC, ATTSA Traffic Control Supervisor, or related areas.
  • Stormwater inspection experience.
  • Material testing experience.
  • Familiarity with AASHTOWare on construction projects.
  • Essential Job Functions :

  • Administer construction contracts and verify that completed work aligns with plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Review submittals, work plans, pay estimates, schedules, and related items.
  • Evaluate work for conformance to contract requirements.
  • Apply engineering principles, methods, and knowledge during project execution.
  • Supervise and coordinate the efforts of project staff.
  • Plan work schedules and staff assignments to meet project timelines.
  • Interact professionally with clients, contractors, and the public.
  • Manage contract changes and resolve issues using critical thinking skills.
  • Coordinate materials testing for acceptance and review test results.
  • Travel throughout Alaska and work onsite with project teams.
  • Work Environment
