The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project fieldwork, including safety, environmental considerations, and subcontractor oversight. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : - Field Management : Assist and coordinate with the Project Manager / Project Coordinator to manage field personnel, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.- Mobilization and Demobilization : Organize mobilization and demobilization activities to ensure efficient use of resources and smooth project transitions.- Safety Oversight : Verify safety standards by examining and inspecting work progress and equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.- Supervision : Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers and subcontractors, maintaining high standards of performance and productivity.- Work Assignment : Assign work to employees based on material and worker requirements for specific jobs, optimizing resource allocation.- Hands-On Support : Assist workers engaged in construction or environmental activities using hand tools and equipment as needed to meet project goals.- Equipment Management : Arrange for repairs of equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure continuous project progress.- Additional Duties : Perform any other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the project and the company. The ideal candidate should possess : - Technical Proficiency : Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.- Project Management Experience : Familiarity with project management methodologies and a strong understanding of construction processes and practices.- Interpersonal Skills : Skilled in maintaining cooperative working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and integrating team members to develop effective project plans.- Problem-Solving Ability : Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions quickly.- Driver's License : Valid Driver's License required, and must be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company's Driving policy.- Screening : Ability to pass a drug, driving, and background screening. Experience : - Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising or directing construction crews.- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing safety performance in a construction environment.
