Job descriptionAbility to interpret specifications and read blueprints. Assist in lay out of work for crew. Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule. Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials. Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as : Daily Reports, Safety Reports, Inspection Reports, 2 & 3 week look ahead schedules, etc. Audit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly. Assist Superintendent in training, appraising work performance and addressing complaints of employees in the field. Conduct regular performance reviews of crewmen. Valid CA General Electrician License Valid CA Drivers License 3-5 years experience in Electrical Sub-contractor supervision 5-8 years of experience in Commercial Electrical Work Experience working on commercial buildings Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have moderate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs Medical and Dental Insurance (Kaiser or Western Health Advantage) 401K with 100% company match up to 4% of salary Vacation time Weekly Pay
