Raba Kistner is seeking a detailed-oriented, dependable Construction Inspector I to join our Infrastructure team in the Fort Worth, TX area. Under general supervision, this individual inspects construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, approved shop / working drawings, project documents and specifications in accordance with established procedures; reporting observations orally and in writing to direct report. Responsibilities include :
Qualifications
Good oral and written communications skills and ability to work in teams at different levels within the organization. Completion of Troxler Manufacturing or equal radiation safety course to use nuclear gauges, completion of State specific Technician Training and Certification Program (TTCP) for applicable testing / sampling procedures (or ability to complete within 6 months of employment), and ACI Field Testing Technician Level 1 certifications and trainings are preferred. Must be self-motivated with good attendance record and be able to work independently. Knowledge of the State specific manual of Uniform Traffic control Devices or National Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices approved by the Federal Highway Administrator as the National Standard. Intermediate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Able to use hand tools such as sledgehammers, shovels, and picks.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, focus vision and depth vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Potential exposure to movement of heavy equipment on construction or roadway sites; potential exposure to hazardous dangerous chemicals and solvents, noise, dust, fumes, grease and oils, radiant and electrical energy, and vibration; all of which would require employee to follow proper safety procedures and utilize appropriate protective equipment.
This position may require protracted or irregular hours. Flexibility to work irregular hours is necessary due to client needs.
