Quality Inspector - Injection Molding

Pay Range: $23 - $25/hour + Robust Benefits
Location: Longmont, CO
Position Type: Direct Hire
Hours: Mon - Th: 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. (Fridays Off!)

How you'll spend your time as a Quality Inspector - Injection Molding:

  • Inspect small injection-molded parts from automated and manual machines.
  • Take hourly production samples and verify conformance.
  • Interpret 2D part prints and follow Job Quality Plans.
  • Measure parts using calipers, gauge pins, height stands, and microscopes.
  • Conduct First Article Inspections using SmartScope and other equipment.
  • Review startup parts and escalate quality concerns when needed.
  • Review work in progress parts from other shifts and weekends.
  • Quality stamp approved boxes for release to Finished Goods.
  • Label and organize master, defective, and last run samples.
  • Participate in quality audits and maintain a clean, safe work area.
  • Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, quality, and customer service.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Quality Inspector - Injection Molding:

  • Prior quality inspection or measurement experience preferred.
  • Experience with calipers, gauge pins, height stands, and microscopes.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D part prints.
  • SmartScope experience is a plus.
  • Injection molding experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Good vision and fine motor skills for inspecting very small parts.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Clear, direct communicator who handles issues constructively.
