Job Summary

Learns how to monitor and inspect contractor construction activities and how to complete related documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and construction agreements.

Essential Functions

• Learning gas facilities construction activity and how to determine if compliant with Company manuals and engineered designs.
• Learn how to interact and communicates construction progress to customers, municipal public works personnel, and department management.
• Assists contractors with documenting materials used on gas facilities construction projects.
• Become knowledgeable about how to review daily construction progress reports to ensure an accurate assessment of work activity, line-item costs, and time and materials charges for compliance.
• Produces accurate and complete field construction documentation and daily progress reports.
• Responds to customer inquiries for construction or conversion information and provides customers with project status updates and post installation troubleshooting to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the service delivery process.
• Performs various construction related and non-construction related activities as assigned to support the service delivery process during the non-construction season.

Compensation : $45,147.20 to $55,115.50 Annually

CenterPoint Energy is required by Minnesota law to provide a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum starting compensation range at the time of posting for the opportunity. This annual compensation range is specific to Minnesota and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
