The job responsibilities include maintaining quality assurance requirements and approach and monitoring code compliance issues, observing all field testing as required by the contract and performed by the contractor, and maintaining records of all testing reports. The role involves inspecting and determining deviations from general compliance with Contract Documents, and clearly and professionally informing the contractor of required corrections. Additionally, the tasks include reviewing submittals and other construction documents, recommending technical solutions, regularly attending and participating in construction meetings, safety meetings / updates, and project site coordination meetings.

The position also involves monitoring and documenting contractor resource utilization (labor, materials, and equipment) for field changes, time and material work, and assisting with negotiation of basic field construction changes. Responsibilities extend to verifying equipment and materials installation for payment purposes, maintaining Payment Quantity documentation, performing mathematical calculations as necessary during inspection activities, ensuring Arcadis' project safety guidelines are met during daily inspections, and completing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience :

Required Qualifications :

  • 10 years of construction inspection experience on water and sewer pipeline projects.
