Construction Superintendent Opportunity
This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee commercial construction projects in San Antonio. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and implement site logistics, including mobilization, signage, security, and neighbor relations.
- Oversee material management to optimize production, including receiving, staging, storing, and timely delivery.
- Establish and maintain engineering controls for both horizontal and vertical construction aspects.
- Lead subcontractor pre-installation and weekly coordination meetings to ensure seamless project execution.
- Enforce site utilization and lay down areas for subcontractors.
- Continuously assess labor, material, and equipment needs to maintain project efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including SWPP, environmental, and pollution controls.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager for timely material delivery and subcontract installations.
- Identify and address underperformance among subcontractors and team members promptly.
- Manage third-party inspections and facilitate visits from owners and design teams.
- Ensure the completion of all punch lists before project handover.
