Job descriptionPrepare detailed project budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts. Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and identify opportunities to control expenses and optimize profitability. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and manage procurement activities. Establish and enforce quality control and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations and company policies. Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure workmanship meets specified requirements and client expectations. Address any quality issues or safety concerns promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary. Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and liabilities. Proactively anticipate and resolve project challenges, conflicts, and issues that may arise during construction. Implement effective communication and escalation processes to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and meet project objectives. Facilitate meetings, provide progress updates, and manage expectations to foster positive relationships and client satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve project milestones and deliverables. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, developers, architects, engineers, and government agencies. Act as a primary point of contact for our high-profile returning clients, including our internal development team. Set standards for the acquisition of new construction projects through competitive bidding, negotiations, and relationship-building. Support the contract negotiation process to secure favorable terms and conditions that align with company goals and mitigate risks. Collaborate with project managers and estimating teams to develop comprehensive project proposals and bids. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement. Coordinate cross-functional efforts with other departments, such as project management, estimating, and finance, to ensure seamless project transitions and client satisfaction. POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager who is eager to grow their career in a supportive environment.
