Job Summary

The CMT Field Technician will be responsible for performing field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including soil, concrete, asphalt, and masonry. This role will require the ability to work independently, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and laboratory staff.

Job Description

• Performing field materials testing and inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt and other building materials
• Collect and document field data, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports
• Travel to construction sites to insure public safety
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and laboratory staff regarding project status and testing results
• Perform laboratory tests on soil and concrete
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents to management
• Create detailed field reports with relevant test results and inspections
