Job Description
The Construction Supervisor in a Metal Framing company is responsible for managing teams on-site, ensuring that projects are executed within established deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. They oversee all stages of construction, from foundation to the completion of the metal structure, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
Main Responsibilities :
Coordinate and supervise assembly and installation teams for metal structures.
Ensure that projects follow technical drawings, specifications, and established schedules.
Ensure the correct interpretation and application of construction safety standards and regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with industry standards.
Supervise the proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
Manage material inventory and request replenishments as needed.
Act as a liaison between workers, engineers, architects, and clients.
Solve technical and operational problems that may arise on the construction site.
Prepare progress reports and communicate regularly with company management.
Ensure the fulfillment of deadlines and production goals.
Requirements :
Proven experience in supervising Metal Framing projects or similar construction.
Advanced knowledge of reading and interpreting architectural and structural plans.
Familiarity with U.S. construction safety standards (OSHA).
Ability to manage teams and solve problems on-site.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Fluency in English is essential.
Availability to work at different locations within the Boston area.
Preferred Qualifications :
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent.
Experience with construction management software.
Ability to train and develop teams.
