Miebach Consulting, a global leader in supply chain and logistics solutions , is seeking a Senior Consultant . The position will be responsible for managing supply chain project deliverables through implementation while keeping the project on time and in budget. Ensure that the implemented solution is cost effective while meeting customer's requirements. Specific duties : 1) analyze, document, and ensure fulfillment of project objectives, deliverables, requirements, approach, and timelines; 2) coordinate tasks for small to medium size teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables; 3) lead project team to drive cross-functional collaboration; 4) manage project contract requirements and ensure project budget is in-line with expectations; 5) present major parts of the projects; 6) serve as day to day point of contact with client, partial responsibility on deliverables, understand when to engage the Project Sponsor; 7) work directly with client and lead the internal team to understand business requirements of a client organization, identify data requirements and necessary supporting analysis, and formulate strategies and solutions that yield value for our clients; 8) determine underlying issues, solution alternatives, and framework, and calculate benefits of solution to the integrated supply chain; 9) develop innovative solutions leveraging internal tools, knowledge, and international expertise; 10) work with client and internal team to analyze business requirements, design corresponding supply chain strategy, and develop a transition road map; 11) create optimization models to run alternatives and compare them by evaluating different quantitative and qualitative aspects; 12) recommend a holistic solution that suggests proper network structure, inventory deployment, replenishment strategy, transportation lanes and mode, inventory strategy, resource requirement, and infrastructure requirement; 13) work with client and internal team to understand the business requirements for supply chain digitalization, select proper software or platform for project execution, design methodologies and algorithms, and develop a transition road map; 14) create digital twins or digital models to test scenarios, compare scenarios from different key metrics identified specifically for each project, and select optimal result as recommendation; 15) recommend a best solution that solve the client business problem; 16) establish Miebach North America offices efficiency improvement tools like modeling and data analysis templates and tools; 17) define knowledge development initiatives, annual goals, rollout roadmap, and track process; 18) manage people and organization of internal initiatives; 19) coordinate regular group meetings, facilitate discussion and communications; 20) provide strategic and technical support to network projects for the region; 21) develop close working relationship with clients through outstanding project execution and communication; 22) identify potential for further work and actively support acquisition with engaged client; 23) develop project references; and 24) support internal projects.

This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Must be certified in Coupa Supply Chain Guru for supply chain design and network optimization. Must also have 6 months of demonstrated experience with each of the following : 1) Project management (methodology, timeline, and budget) using Excel, Tableau, or QuickBooks; 2) Creating digital BI dashboards on top of SQL database; 3) Presenting analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders; 4) Supply chain optimization and simulation concepts and strategies; and 5) Managing big data using R Studio, Python, and SQL. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Experience can be gained before, during, or after Master's degree program.
