This role involves assisting clients with responding to cyber incidents, consulting with clients regarding their security controls, conducting technical assessments, and collaborating closely with our digital forensics and eDiscovery teams. The Details Client Consulting : Collaborate closely with clients and their legal counsel to understand their investigative needs and objectives. Communicate findings and provide detailed reports with recommendations to enhance security posture. Ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy in cybersecurity reports and deliverables. Assist clients with evaluating IT initiatives to understand potential security risks and mitigation strategies. Digital Forensic Incident Response (DFIR) Investigations : Oversee complex cyber investigations from initiation to completion. Provide expertise in assessing client environments, identifying indicators of compromise, and implementing emergency security measures. Ensure integrity and compliance with industry standards, legal and regulatory requirements. Process Improvement : Work with cybersecurity team to develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures. Share knowledge, evaluate and improve tools and techniques. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with N1D’s digital forensics and eDiscovery teams on multifaceted investigations. Coordinate with legal and IT contacts to ensure seamless project execution. Provide insights and support for unique device and account access when necessary. The Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field of study from an accredited university and / or five (5) or more years of experience working in IT and / or cybersecurity Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to document and explain difficult technical scenarios Industry certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, Net+, Security+, or equivalent Experience with variety of cybersecurity tools and vendors (i.e., CrowdStrike, TrendMicro, Velociraptor, Splunk, Elastic, Tenable Nessus, security-based Linux distros, Metasploit, Burp Suite, etc.) Experience with varied network environments and critical infrastructure solutions (i.e., FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switches, Palo Alto, Microsoft servers, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, Duo, SIEM solutions, backup solutions, etc.) US citizenship and residence What Else?
