Job Description
MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a Director of Sponsorship Consulting with expertise in women's sports. In this exciting role, you will shape partnership strategy, activation, and rightsholder management for brands with a focus on women's professional basketball. Your knowledge of the leagues, teams, players, and trends in professional women's basketball will allow you to create standout programs.
You will report into the Vice President and lead a skilled team of marketers.
Responsibilities :
- Develop integrated strategic solutions that address client marketing and business goals
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of client business and competitive landscape
- Lead junior teams to build sponsorship planning and activations
- Conduct regular communication and collaboration with clients, rightsholders and other client roster agencies to ensure the best solutions
- Collaborate with sanctioning bodies and rightsholders to help develop outstanding marketing partnerships
- Write and present client-ready presentations and deliverables, including detailed sponsorship activation plans, POV documents, and landscape analyses
- Maintain oversight on activation programming including overall annual and per-event budgeting
- Understand project budgets and manage costs while following both client and internal guidelines

Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $78,000-$126,500. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
