Position’s Contributions to Work Group :

This position is part of a small technical team that works closely with one another and internal clients. The team is involved in developing new heat treatments, wrought and cast alloys, and manufacturing processes. The team culture is based on innovation, technical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement for safety.

Typical task breakdown :

• Work with AMT engineers and internal clients on materials and process R&D projects
• Design and execute experimental trials
• Conduct heat treat processes with internal heat treat development lab
• Submit test samples to Met Lab for analysis; track progress
• Document all process details and test results
• Analyze / Summarize test results
• Participate in team meetings to review test results and plan experiments
• Conduct wear testing in on-site lab
• Follow safe job procedures; participate in safety audits
• Submit work orders or purchase orders to maintain equipment and consumables inventory as needed

Pay Transparency : The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is : $32.00 - $37.00 / hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
