Job Description
Nokia of America Corporation, Consulting Engineer (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA.
SALARY RANGE : $200,304 - 235,579 per year
WORK SCHEDULE : 40 hours per week, M-F (9 : 00 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m.)
Responsibilities
Nokia of America Corporation, Consulting Engineer (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA. Lead technical aspects of supporting sales and business development for large enterprise accounts, specifically Healthcare and Financials, Public Sector and Energy focused on Nokia Data Center Fabric Solution. Work closely with account managers and various business units to develop strategies and solutions directly with and for Nokia's key customers in North America. Build and maintain relationships with highly technical customer base and enable parallel top-down sales through executive relationships and bottoms-up sales through teams. Understand, anticipate, and articulate customer needs and work with business units and partners to develop and close creative solutions to meet those needs. Leverage technical, marketing, end-user, and industry information to enable both Nokia's and customers' success. Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies. Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS : Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience (of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive). Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following : Protocols including : netconf / YANG, OpenConfig, and Telemetry; L2 / L3 services, IPv4, IPv6, VxLAN, and MPLS; Segment Routing, EVPN, or OAM; and Traffic engineering and network design.
Domestic travel up to 40% required.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA may be permitted.
