The People site team is looking for a content manager / editor to oversee content development and updates for an internal global website. In this role, you'll manage a high volume of content updates and contribute to the development of new initiatives. You should be a strong writer and editor with project management experience. You see the big picture but maintain a sharp eye for detail, have a passion for content integrity and user experience, and are comfortable working within a content management system (CMS).

Key Qualifications

10 years of experience in editing and online content production

Ability to write clear, direct, and compelling copy

Meticulous, highly organized, and strong task / project management skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Proven experience with a CMS

Intermediate knowledge of HTML

Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to build strong relationships with stakeholders in a fast-changing environment

Ability to influence without authority and drive tasks while working cross-functionally

Experience with HR and global projects preferred

Description

Restructure, edit, and rewrite web pages for clarity, flow, and optimal user experience. Anticipate user questions and address them in the content, clearly communicating key messages. Collaborate directly with subject matter experts for content approval.

Act as a content strategist : Apply usability best practices and user-centered thinking to content development. Advocate for content strategy within the organization.

Prepare content for development teams, and also load content directly into the CMS when needed.

Maintain website quality and editorial standards, adhering to internal style guides, glossaries, and regional team contributions.

Prioritize and evaluate content requests, collaborating with leadership as needed.

Scope content work, set timelines, and coordinate with stakeholders.

Use project management tools to track and manage work across teams.

Collaborate with localization teams on translated content.

Work closely with internal and external partners across departments.

Education

BA / BS in English, journalism, communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $47.27 - $54.27 per hour
• This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and / or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements
