The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing the creation, optimization, and distribution of impactful content across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, drive lead generation, and support business goals. This role involves crafting engaging content tailored to target audiences, aligning with SEO best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sales to ensure materials meet client needs and industry standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Write engaging long-form content (e.g., case studies, white papers, eBooks) and short-form content (e.g., blogs, articles, and social media posts) tailored to target audiences
  • Create and optimize website copy aligned with SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimization, to improve search rankings and organic visibility
  • Develop and manage content calendars and editorial plans to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality, impactful content across all channels
  • Draft personalized, audience-focused content for Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and email campaigns targeting Director- and C-level decision-makers
  • Conduct audience and market research to better understand target demographics and craft content that resonates with IT Services, SaaS, IoT, analytics, and automation clients
  • Partner with Sales, subject matter experts, and the SEO team to create sales-enablement materials and ensure content aligns with business goals and client needs
  • Develop internal support materials, such as newsletters, training documents, presentations, FAQs, and knowledge-base articles
  • Share content on relevant platforms and communities to increase visibility and drive engagement. Utilize email marketing to distribute content to subscribers
  • Stay up to date with current content creation trends, algorithms, and best practices, conducting A / B testing and making data-driven adjustments to optimize performance
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as website traffic, user behavior, and lead generation metrics, identifying areas of weakness and implementing approved plans to address them
  • Develop content that incorporates buzzwords and client language specific to the industries Bridgera serves, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Perform other duties assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in content writing and marketing for IT services, SaaS, or related industries
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEO principles and demonstrated experience implementing content marketing strategies to drive engagement and visibility
  • Expertise in developing client-centric and innovative material
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience (current or former) working at a small company (250 employees or less)
  • Proven ability to create professional, engaging, and industry-specific content that aligns with target audience needs and terminology
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related degree from an accredited college or university
  • Global experience preferred
  • Familiarity with IoT, automation, and analytics preferred
  • In-depth understanding of IoT cloud solutions, including the necessary prerequisites for building an IoT solution and the various stages of the IoT journey
  • Experience developing content tailored to Director- and C-level audiences to support strategic business goals
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer in close range
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Travel Requirements :

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
