Position : Email Marketing & Content Writer

Reports To : Head of Product

Location : Carlsbad, California (3-4 days in office)

Status : Part-time, non-exempt (with potential for full-time)

Length : 3-6 months (with potential for permanent)

Hourly Rate Range : $20 - $25 / Hour

We’re seeking a creative and results-driven Email Marketing & Content Creation Specialist to lead email campaigns, content marketing efforts, and recruitment initiatives for sleep research studies.

This position will work closely with Product Development, Marketing, and Research teams to drive user and participant engagement, as well as optimize communication strategies.

You’ll Get To :

1. Email Marketing & CRM Management

• Develop, execute, and monitor email marketing campaigns to engage app users and recruit / retain research participants.
• Manage CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar) to track participant engagement and outreach activities.
• Create, schedule, and send weekly / monthly newsletters to drive retention and engagement.
• Implement targeted email campaigns using platforms like SendGrid, ensuring content is optimized for open rates and conversions.
• Conduct A / B testing on subject lines, email formats, and CTAs to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyze key email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, and conversions).
