The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Contract / Grant Administrator Senior to support the the Housing and Urban Planning Division.

This is a professional and administrative position with the Housing and Urban Planning Division. This position manages the administration and compliance of the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Davis Bacon Program for Broward County. The Housing Contract / Grant Administrator Senior is responsible for the daily administration and oversight of the HOME Program including program planning compliance financial management contract administration and sub-recipient monitoring.
General Description
Performs supervisory work in initiating coordinating and administering assigned programs or projects involving public sector procurements and contract grant or lease administration.
Works independently under limited supervision reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public or business administration or closely related field.
(One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.)
Requires four (4) years in procuring managing and / or monitoring contracts grants and / or leases or closely related experience including six (6) months lead work experience.

- Masters degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business or public administration finance planning sociology or closely related field.
- Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business or public administration finance planning sociology or closely related field.

- Four plus (4) years of direct hands-on experience performing Section 3 Davis Bacon.

- Four plus (4) years of managing and / or monitoring contracts grants and / or leases.
- Four plus (4) years of knowledge in the administration and compliance of the HOME Program.
