Job Summary
This Senior Controls Engineer will work with our water and waste-water clients to prepare (I&C) design documents for construction.
The Responsibilities
- Designing (I&C) systems, construction administration services and witnessing of commissioning / testing.
- Perform Field investigations to gather information for existing facility upgrades / modifications.
- Setting up industrial communication protocols.
- PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA system planning, designing, some programming, and upgrading.
- Developing drawings and specifications for construction including network communication block diagrams, control panel details, wiring termination diagrams, instrument location plans, and instrument installation details. and Electrical Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Equipment selecting, cost estimating, and equipment layout.
The Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, and 5+ years of experience in PLC design / programming and HMI or SCADA configuration. In lieu of a college degree, additional experience will be considered.
