Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Controller to lead the financial and accounting operations of a growing manufacturing business. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving financial strategy, overseeing accounting functions, and contributing to long-term business growth. Our client is a well-established and recently private equity-backed. This is a stable business with a tight-knit culture and a strong track record of employee tenure.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including ledger entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end closings.

Prepare and ensure the accuracy of internal and external financial statements.

Design and implement financial reporting processes aligned with corporate standards.

Manage budgeting processes and develop business performance metrics.

Drive continuous improvement in accounting operations and financial processes.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and treasury processes.

Conduct profitability and cost analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

Partner with leadership to assess business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Act as a liaison with auditors and external service providers. Strategic Contributions

Provide financial insights to support long-term business planning.

Evaluate the financial impact of new customer contracts and business opportunities. Qualifications

Required Experience :

8+ years of accounting or finance experience, including team management.

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, SAP). Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Skills :

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.

Proven ability to manage complex financial processes and implement process improvements.
