Controls Engineer

Job Responsibilities :

• Design Electrical Control Panels for Machines and Control Systems.
• Design and Build PLC programs.
• Design and Build HMI Programs.
• Design Systems using current safety procedures and practices.
• Startup and troubleshoot VFD and motor controls.
• Startup and troubleshoot Servo Motor Applications.
• Understand and troubleshoot Industrial Networking.
• Manage individual projects, including budget control, customer communication, scheduling, installation, and startup.
• Program Industrial Robots (I.e. Fanuc) (not required but desired)
• Understand and troubleshoot PLC controllers, industrial networks such as Ethernet / IP and Profinet, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems
• Travel is required but not excessive (25%)
