Location : Frisco, TX (2 Days' In-Office)
LHH is partnering with a multi-billion dollar, financial services organization that is based in Frisco, TX. They are looking for an experienced individual to oversee and their compliance program related to IT controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT Audit, Risk Assessment, and compliance, with a focus on ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Responsibilities :
Lead and execute IT audits in accordance with SOX requirements, including planning, scoping, execution, and reporting.
Assess IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, and IT-dependent manual controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, controls, and testing procedures.
Identify control deficiencies and provide practical recommendations for remediation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and external auditors to facilitate audit activities and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to SOX compliance and IT auditing.
Conduct risk assessments and assist in developing risk-based audit plans.
Mentor and coach junior team members on IT audit methodologies and best practices.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or other related field; professional certification is required (, CISA, CPA, CISSP, CPA)
5+ years' working experience within IT Audit, including experience with SOX compliance audits
In-depth knowledge of IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, and IT-dependent manual controls
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex IT processes and controls
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
