Position Overview : The Senior Controls Engineer supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of process control systems (including electrical, mechanical, and chemical control devices) for Gopher Resource's manufacturing operations. They will be involved with forecasting project work. They will be involved in the programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical devices such as PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs. The Controls Engineer will also be involved in the creation and modification of electrical drawings and control circuits.
Critical Success Criteria :
- Collaborate with internal customers to define scope of requests and forecast controls engineering time to complete
- Ensure smooth execution of controls projects, leveraging strong relationships with stakeholders to understand the needs of the site and manage project quality, schedule, cost
- Verify control standards are implemented across the enterprise, working directly with site controls, electrical, and contractors from design through commissioning
- Support multiple site operations by executing high priority controls projects as assigned

Compensation Information : Salary Range : $107,159.62 to $176,713.06. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive plan which is determined by the achievement of strategic objectives. The market rate for the role is typically at the midpoint of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as candidate qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
