This position is responsible for providing personal assistance to residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living.
Job Description
- Scheduling : Coordinating client visits and matching them with staff availability. This can include admission visits and supervisory visits. Printing off and distributing schedules.
- Communication : Acting as the point of contact between caregivers and families, and responding to calls.
- Compliance : Ensuring that home care services comply with company policies and procedures.
- Documentation : Monitoring and documenting care issues.
- Office duties : Performing general office duties, such as understanding and adhering to policies and procedures, and working toward continuous quality improvement.
- On-call : Being on-call to ensure that all clients are cared for 24 / 7.
- Provide client care as needed.
- Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Qualifications
Level of Formal Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
Area of Study : General Education
Years of Experience : 0-1+ years
Type of Experience : General patient care in a care facility or in a home situation.
Language Skills : The ability to understand and speak the English language.
Personal Attributes : Patience and compassion for the elderly.
