PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION : The key role of an employee who works as an Accounting Clerk is to ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

  • Prepare monthly general ledger journal entries and month end accruals.
  • Prepares & file sales and use tax returns.
  • Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Perform Financial analysis.
  • Review monthly P&L and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Provide back-up and support to the Finance Team
  • Takes the initiative and seeks process improvement opportunities within assigned responsibilities.
  • Completes other duties as assigned to meet accounting department responsibilities.

All other duties as assigned

Requirements : REQUIREMENTS :

  • 3 or more years of recent Corporate Accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with advanced level of Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
  • KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :

    Thorough understanding of basic accounting concepts, procedures, reconciliation processes and financial statements.
