Job description
Position Overview:
Join our team as a Customer Operations Team Leader, where you will play a vital role in ensuring prompt and complete installation and service for our valued existing customers. You will coordinate and manage both personnel and materials in your district, being the key liaison between our field service workforce and corporate operations.
Major Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize the activities of the service workforce, ensuring they are well-trained in product installation and service skills.
- Develop a strategic business plan aimed at providing cost-effective services that align with sales growth and market share objectives.
- Collaborate with management to achieve profitability goals.
- Conduct regular meetings to share updates, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively about new products, sales promotions, and advertising strategies.
- Support the sales team by creating cost-effective installation solutions and offering diverse system applications.
- Act as the main contact for feedback related to corporate installation and service standards.
- Ensure consistency and quality in field installation and service activities for optimal customer retention.
- Build and maintain a highly effective service workforce through recruiting, training, coaching, and motivation tactics.
- Monitor and record service and installation activities to evaluate team performance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education: An associate degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a high-impact, high-volume operations setting, with a focus on the economic impact of services for customers.
- A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively lead a team to success.
Skills:
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.
- Excellent management capabilities for training and motivating others.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and intermediate to advanced computer skills.
