  • Oversee data hygiene, including deduplication, NCOA updates, and data audits.
  • Design, build, and maintain queries, exports, and reports that support fundraising, finance, and executive decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain real-time dashboards (e.g., via Raiser's Edge NXT, Power BI, or similar tools) tracking revenue, pipeline, and KPI performance for staff development and leadership.
  • Partner with the Development Leadership Team to translate data needs into accurate, actionable reports for leadership, Board of Directors, audit, and grant compliance purposes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve reporting to increase efficiency.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate processing and reconciliation of all gifts, pledges, and other revenue types.
  • Partner with the Finance department on monthly and annual revenue reconciliation, ensuring development and finance figures remain aligned.
  • Oversee the acknowledgment and tax-receipting process.
  • Stay current on nonprofit compliance requirements, including charitable solicitation registration, gift acceptance policies, and donor privacy regulations.
  • Maintain documentation of internal controls and compliance procedures for development operations; support internal and external audits as needed.
  • Provide direction and supervision to the Prospect Researcher, ensuring research priorities align with major gift, mid-level, annual, and institutional giving strategies.
  • Ensure prospect research findings, wealth screening data, and ratings are captured in the database.
  • Support prospect pipelines growth and portfolio assignments in partnership with the philanthropy team.
  • Directly supervise two Database Specialists and a Prospect Researcher, providing clear direction, coaching, and professional development support.
  • Establish workflows, documentation, and cross-training.
  • Conduct regular one-ons and annual performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous growth

Supervises Database Specialists and Prospect Researcher, or similar positions. Provides daily work direction, approves time sheets, administers performance reviews, and participates in employment decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in related field required
  • Five years' experience with Raiser's Edge required, including experience managing large-scale data manipulation, building complex queries and reports, and working directly with support technicians.
  • Extensive experience in Excel, dashboard adjustments and dataset combing preferred.
  • Project management experience.
