What You will be doing as a Senior Corporate Accountant :

Actively participating in month end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and assessment of proper accounting in accordance with GAAP. Ad hoc analysis as needed

Adhering to monthly financial close deadlines and implementing process improvements

Reviewing financial statement items for completeness, accuracy, and compliance

Participating in special projects spanning a variety of initiatives including process optimization, systems implementation, operational and management reporting quality

Performing technical accounting research as required

Responding to and supports audit requests for areas of responsibility

Documenting and monitor internal controls in support of audit efforts

Interpreting and analyze commonly used financial reports including company financial statements, variance reports, etc.

Making recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures

Corporate accounting experience, with a mid size company roughly $400M-$1B in revenue, and from a public company. Working for a public company is important because we have SOX controls

5 plus years' experience in a public company or corporate accounting

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university

Experience with Workday Financials

CPA Preferred
