Job descriptionActive member of the California Bar in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of California employment law litigation experience (plaintiff or defense). Strong understanding of state employment law; federal experience is a plus. Ethical, driven, and motivated to provide exceptional client service. Collaborative and proactive with a growth mindset. Salary : $125,000-$150,000 DOE, plus bonuses and incentives (OTE up to $175,000). Schedule : Full-time with part-time options available for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities
- Advise and represent California employers in matters involving state labor and employment laws.
- Handle litigation matters including court appearances, mediations, and depositions.
- Draft and customize employment agreements, policies, and compliance documentation.
- Lead legal strategy and provide counsel with the support of a dedicated team.
- Manage a reasonable caseload that focuses on quality over excessive billable hours.
- Billable Expectation : Full-time attorneys target 1,450 billed and collected hours annually. Origination is not required but is rewarded.
