Northrop Grumman is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our team.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• The Corporate Counsel will provide legal advice, counsel and service to internal business clients concerning legal rights, obligations, and privileges of corporations.
• Coordinate with various legal specialists inside the company to support litigation and internal investigations, intellectual property, export, employment, and other matters impacting the business.
• Draw up contracts involving leases, licenses, purchases, sales, real estate, employment, insurance, mergers, acquisitions and related matters.
• Keep current on legislative issues, statutes, decisions, and ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies.
• Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuit.
• Act as agent of corporation in various transactions.
• Advise company regarding concerns for risk assessment.
• Develop, review, or implement company-wide and / or functionally specific training programs.
• Oversee corporate governance matters and its various committees.
• Work with outside counsel to direct activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Salary Range : $221,600 - $318,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
