The VP, Strategy serves as a strategic partner and advisor to the Chief Business Officer & EVP, Software & Analytics, driving execution of key initiatives and ensuring alignment across teams. This role translates high-level priorities into actionable plans, manages cross-functional collaboration, and oversees preparation for executive and board engagements. Acting as an extension of the CBO & EVP, Software & Analytics, the VP, Strategy ensures clarity, accountability, and progress against strategic goals.
What Our VP, Strategy Will Do
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Business Officer, translating priorities into clear plans and measurable outcomes.
- Drive execution of key initiatives, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely delivery across teams.
- Lead preparation and follow-up for executive meetings, board updates, and strategic communications.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to advance organizational priorities and resolve operational challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor and proxy for the CBO, ensuring continuity, clarity, and strategic alignment.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing, highly engaged business unit, which may span multiple units or departments and may include managers, senior managers, directors, and Associate Vice Presidents
- Create workforce plans, including staffing strategy that onboards and retains exceptional talent
- Work with Executive Leadership and peers to establish strategy and execution plans
- Adopt and reinforce company policies, processes, and programs
- Ensure adherence with the company's tools and processes to lead a world class organization
- Oversee the performance management and development process for the business unit
- Drive and foster the company culture that emphasizes the strategy, guiding principles and core values

Languages for Qubec candidates : The knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec. The English language is required for this position in order to communicate with clients, partners, and colleagues, who are strictly located outside of Qubec. French-language training will be offered to candidates who do not have a good knowledge of French.
