SUMMARY : Responsible for directing the Company’s strategic initiatives and supporting the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Analyze and recommend emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, competitive threats, internal business performance and business process improvements. Provides input from a strategy perspective to potential mergers, acquisitions, investments, and divestitures to ensure maximum returns on invested capital and consistency with overall business objectives. Provides leadership and direction to both business and corporate strategy teams. Oversee organizational reviews and develop strategies to enhance the business based on the reviews. Resolve and coordinate escalated issues with the business unit which arise from operations. Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver measurable business outcomes. Collaborate with project management to ensure initiatives have appropriate resources for development and are delivered timely and on budget. Contribute to developing and communicating the strategic vision for the business while continuing identifying new areas of strategic focus. Leads the development of strategic plans for Enterprise. Works closely with leaders in the business to develop business plans for portfolio of businesses. Identifies and defines business issues and develops strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis. Develops implementation plans to drive execution
Qualifications
EDUCATION : Master’s degree in business, finance or related field; or a combination of bachelor's degree and equivalent work experience may be substituted for Master's degree. MBA or advanced degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE : 7+ years’ experience in strategic planning, preferably in management with proven experience communicating strategic recommendations to internal and external audiences.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY : Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; in addition to proficiency in financial modeling and market research techniques.
COMPETENCIES : Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously and to mentor, coach and train employees. Ability to function effectively both as a leader and as part of a team. Ability to identify and understand complex problems and review related information to evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to identify and / or document existing and new trends, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization. Ability to provide subject matter expertise, counsel and effectively influence others at various levels within the organization. Knowledge of and ability to conduct need, trend, feasibility and performance assessments. Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of change management.
OTHER : Ability to travel as necessary.

WORKING CONDITIONS : Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
