POSITION OVERVIEW : The Legal Department of Chiquita Brands International, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Corporate Counsel to join its Legal Department. This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at Chiquita’s corporate headquarters (not remote). The selected candidate will report directly, and serve as the right hand, to the Head of the U.S. Legal Department.This is an incredible opportunity to join a world-renowned, first-class organization with an exceptional, challenging, and fast-paced work environment. This selected candidate will be responsible for various corporate law matters, including : working closely with the Latin American operations with regard to the supply of fruit, performing transactional work such as drafting / reviewing contracts and conducting legal research, and providing timely legal advice to internal clients across various departments. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
