Job Description
Serve as a client-facing Cost Consultant, providing strategic, tactical, and technical advice throughout all project stages, collaborating with clients and consultants.
Conduct feasibility studies, produce procurement reports, and develop ROMs for new and pipeline projects to establish project budgets.
Manage day-to-day cost activities on medium-large scale projects, including procurement, pay requests, change management, and cost reporting.
Apply value management techniques early in projects, integrating existing protocols and systems.
Oversee the procurement process, ensuring effective pre-qualification, enquiry, evaluation, selection, and contract preparation.
Manage post-contract cost variances, change control, cost checking, valuation, and the production of monthly cost reports for client presentations. Qualifications :
Relevant Degree (MSc, MBA, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field) A professional qualification such as MRICS is advantageous.
2 - 4 years experiencein a Cost Consultancy role, with experience managing life science, industrial manufacturing or other capital projects.
Strong commercial and financial understanding, with the ability to manage budgets, perform cost analyses, and track financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex cost information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Why is This a Great Opportunity :
