What you’ll do :
You must be flexible as process and planning can change from the original plan and we need to adapt as changes are made.
Ability to have a strong customer focus as we are a custom machining job shop and our customer is our top priority.
Ability to create a plan to process parts with all details defined using the customer's print.
Ability to identify issues that arise during the manufacturing process and determine the most efficient and cost-effective fix.
Ability to understand the standards we are trying to comply with before estimating the job.
Communicate with personnel & contractual professionals or vendors, using computer software to weigh production risks.
Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product.
Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service.
Create labor estimates for any project.
Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors.
Manage bids from vendors and contractors.
Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis.
Present prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders.
