Duties and Responsibilities
Office Management / Administrative Responsibilities
- Responsible for decisions regarding student mental health issues.
- Collaboratively (with staff) develops and implement ongoing vision for counseling services.
- Assists in formulating and facilitating policies and procedures of the Wellness Center in accordance with the mission of the University including clinical policies, risk assessment, emergency protocols, informed consent and limits of confidentiality.
- Assists AVP Student Health and Wellness as needed in supervision and administration of all Wellness Center Staff.
- Serves as Active AVP in their absence.
- Assists in ensuring compliance with patient privacy laws, rule regulations, and ethical standards.
- Develops, updates and implements clinical policies and procedures for mental health clinical services.
- Collaborates with Leadership Team members on overall vision of center including strategic planning, formulating and facilitating overall policies of the wellness Center in accordance with the mission of the university.
- Develops ongoing assessments and evaluations of outcomes indicators.
- Participation in the ongoing Wellness Center Quality Improvement Program.
- Serves to exhibit and promote ethical decision-making and behavior in staff.
- Prepares and analyzes statistical reports based.

Minimum Education and / or Work Experience
Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or ten years of related experience administering wellness programs, Counseling, and / or training.
Preferred qualifications : Doctorate in counseling or related field.

Licensed in the State of Illinois.
Computer Skills
Proficient in Electronic Medical Record; in addition to commonly used University programs
Supervisory Responsibilities
Required operation of university owned vehicles
