When you work with TASC, you're part of a team committed to reducing people's involvement with the justice system, increasing health and recovery, and advancing racial and social justice. We also strive to reform systems through public policy work in Illinois and nationally, and through our consulting services across the globe.In our statewide Adult Court Services, we support clients who in court or on probation because of an offense that's usually related to a substance use disorder. We provide opportunities for clients to rebuild their lives so they can become healthy and self-sufficient. Our work includes screening and assessments for substance use disorders, placing clients into treatment programs, and providing support with such activities as insurance enrollment, obtaining a state ID, and finding employment resourcesWe are offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for a full-time Case Manager. This position requires reporting to the office daily. Summary : This position provides a broad range of comprehensive behavioral health services within the guidelines established by the agency and in keeping with Drug Court operational standards. These services will include screening and assessing client needs, and delivering planning, ongoing referrals and linkages, monitoring, and advocacy services.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Completes a comprehensive assessment process to determine clients' current functioning levels, strengths and abilities. Collaborates with the client to develop an individualized case management treatment plan. Attends court staffing's and presents reports to the courts on an ongoing basis. Maintains a therapeutic alliance with clients through appropriate treatment services and / or programs. Assesses, identifies and responds to emergency or crisis needs of clients. Completes accurately and in a timely manner all necessary forms, case notes, and reports as required by program guidelines and contractual obligations. Actively participates in multidisciplinary treatment team, regular supervisory, and internal and court team meetings. Develops and maintains appropriate relationships with all court team partners, including external social service, and / or mental health treatment providers.Our Ideal candidate : Bachelor Degree Spanish speaking optional CADC required, 2+ years experience (preferred) Knowledge of court based case management software systems, preferred Knowledge of the federal drug and alcohol confidentiality law (42 C.F.R. Part 2) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Knowledge of the signs and symptoms of substance abuse including pharmacological factors. Knowledge of the current ASAM placement criteria and the DSM-V as it relates to substance-related disorders or able to acquire the knowledge. Possess excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
