Overview :

This is a unique remote contract to hire position for a mid-senior level CPA to come on board with a 20 yr+ established Wealth Management Company that is rapidly expanding their virtual practice on the tax side of the business. We have 4k plus clients for the right person that wants to grow this side of the business. We would like to bring on the right candidates after 6 months to expand our client's firm in the Kansas City office. This is a mid-senior level role with 5 plus yrs of experience preferred. You will be reviewing a lot of returns with the average return taking 1 hour for personal taxes and small businesses (less than 5 hours).

What you will be doing :

• Aa a Certified Public Accountant, or CPA, you will be responsible for assisting business owners and individuals in maintaining and improving their financial health and reporting procedures.
• Your duties include meeting with clients to discuss their current practices and financial needs, reviewing financial statements and tax forms to check for errors and performing audits to ensure compliance with tax organizations.
• Balance financial records and check for inaccuracies
• Audit individual accounts on a random or scheduled basis
• Check for major financial issues
• Ensure projects stay on budget
• Publish audited financial statements
• Work with individuals and business owners to establish budgets
• Oversee Accountants and other financial professionals
• Make suggestions regarding budgets and other financial decisions
• Assist with external company audits

Contract Duration :  6 months to direct hire

Rate : $40.00 - $57.00
