POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Director oversees all aspects of marketing including Brand Marketing, Acquisition Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Customer Base Management, with the goal of building our Brand perception, acquiring new subscribers, and creating a more loyal customer base. This role involves working directly with our agency of record for creative development, production, and media planning. The Director will lead and support a talented and expanding group of marketers, helping support their professional development, and creating a collaborative and high-performance culture. Additionally, the Marketing Director will also be responsible for our Small and Medium Business marketing efforts including advertising & promotional activity.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase sales and revenue, including creating brand / product-specific campaigns for across multiple advertising channels.
- Work across multiple areas of marketing-led growth, such as digital, acquisition, retention, events, product, and public relations.
- Put tools and processes in place to measure the impact of our marketing investments to continually optimize.
- Ensure consistency in our brand communications.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to deliver to support multiple business lines and help deliver on our overall corporate goals.
- Understand and communicate the value of our products to customers, translating this into collateral, website content, and other marketing tactics.
- Manage Agency of Record and key partners to optimize performance while building strong strategic partnerships.
- Lay out team and individual objectives to ensure team is working together towards a shared vision.
- Support team members in their professional development journey, while helping Alaska Communications become the Employer of Choice in Alaska.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : Bachelor's degree in marketing or an equivalent combination of training and experience in sales and marketing experience in sales production, preferably in telecommunications or other highly technical industries can be substituted year for year.
Experience : Ten (10) years of progressive marketing experience in the technical field or services industry.
Computer Skills : High degree of proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Office).
