Job Description
The Universal Pictures Film Technology Innovation Partnerships Department seeks a Creative Producer – Digital Innovation, to join our team as we envision the future of entertainment media. Our group is focused on three technology pillars : Immersive Media, Web3 and Artificial Intelligence. In this role, you will be ideating and managing the creation of both internally and publicly facing innovative content created with emerging technologies and Universal’s breadth of film IP. You will work in close collaboration with various departments across Universal including Brand Franchise, Theatrical Marketing, Home Entertainment Marketing, Universal Creative ATI - Advanced Technologies & Interactive, Universal Parks and Experiences, Games, Consumer Products, C suite executives and more. You will also be responsible for managing production teams comprised of producers, technologists, developers, artists and product managers to deliver end-to-end new media experiences aimed to excite and entertain the evolving consumer desires.
The Creative Producer – Digital Innovation, will play a crucial role in the development and execution of groundbreaking projects that blend film and technology. This role requires a deep understanding of creative production, project management and the ability to harness emerging technologies to drive innovation. You will be responsible for managing the creative execution of immersive media, AI, and Web3 content, ensuring alignment with Universal’s brand and vision.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Lead Creative Production : Oversee the creative execution of immersive media projects, including AI and Web3 content, leveraging Universal film IP. Collaborate with leading tech partners to ensure high-quality, on-brand productions
- Visual Concept Development : Create compelling visual concept art and presentations to effectively communicate ideas to studio executives and partners for approval and greenlighting
- Vision Communication : Articulate creative visions to engineers, developers, artists, filmmakers and executives, ensuring a cohesive understanding across all stakeholders
- Relationship Management : Foster and maintain strong relationships across multiple internal departments and with external creative technology vendors
- Asset Creation and Direction : Guide the development of creative assets and support the production team in executing innovative ideas for various projects
- Production Management : Oversee the production and project management of immersive media, metaverse, Web3, AI, and other technology-driven projects within the Universal Pictures Film Technology group
- Resource Acquisition : Secure necessary assets and approvals from Comcast NBCUniversal and other resources to ensure the success of tech-driven creative productions
- Schedule and Budget Management : Create and manage detailed production schedules and budgets for new tech productions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Tech Demonstration : Coordinate and present technology demos to both internal and external audiences, showcasing the potential of new innovations
- Industry Trend Analysis : Stay informed on the latest technological trends and industry developments. Network and attend events to pitch cutting-edge, innovative ideas to the studio

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range : $110, - $140, (bonus eligible)
